No Power!

Middle Pillar HQ is one of 25,000 New York City residents without power! Obviously the work of terrorists. And Aliens! Terrorist Aliens - the new menace!!

But this is no joking matter.

No computers are working nor anything else and it's been this way since Tuesday. We've heard promises that power will be restored sometime between now and umm, Ragnarok... err, Sunday. Meanwhile, I'm writing this from a quiet cafe in Beirut. Stay tuned!

And please accept our apologies for any unavoidable delays.

UPDATE: Vacation's over. Power's back on.
How like Beirut, Astoria looks to me; maybe it's all the torn up streets and folks smoking the hookah.
